Bryan Kohberger, the lead suspect in the murder of the four Idaho University students in 2022, wants his trial moved out of Latah County. The reason is so Bryan and his attorneys can escape the “mob mentality” of the town. Defense experts of Latah County, where the crime happened, gave threats of burning the courthouse, riots, and even finding and killing Bryan if he isn’t convicted. The media coverage in the county has caused a heavy bias against Bryan among the people, meaning that it’s nearly impossible to have an unbiased jury for the trial in that county.
