In a recent study by NASA, scientists discovered a lava tube on the moon. They could do this using NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, also known as the LRO. A lava tube is a cave formed from lava running underground. This makes scientists wonder how big the lava tube is and encourages researchers to continue looking at the moon’s surface.
