Conrad Schools of Science’s Spanish Four class is promoting a fundraiser with the organization, Yudabands. Yudabands is a group that allows schools to fund a specific student’s education in a developing country by selling bracelets. This organization does more than help with providing children with a continuing education, it also provides jobs for the community. There is also a greater world purpose to Yudabands–by selling them, we are also raising awareness for extreme poverty. The people at Yudabands would like all of us to be the generation to end this problem. Conrad will be sponsoring a 16 year-old named Juan Car Par, from Guatemala. Juan is currently in the ninth grade, and his goal is to attend college and receive a good job. We will be selling Yudabands during lunches in the first two weeks in December. For just $7, you will receive a beautiful handmade bracelet that helps to raise awareness and end extreme poverty. Help send Juan to school!
