I walk out of the Distance Learning lab, sweating as if I’ve walked a mile on the desert planet of Tattoine in my hoodie, pants, and fuzzy socks. I step into the hallway, cooling off despite the frantic movement of bodies. I step into Mrs. Holloway’s room, and immediately, I feel as if I’d stepped onto the icy planet of Hoth. I adorn my second winter coat and take a chilly breath as I brace for a long hour in my seat directly under the air conditioner. It has officially been three weeks since the beginning of winter, and there has been one major snowfall. I call for equal heating and cooling of classrooms for all. Everyone from Mr. Alexander to Mr. McFarland deserves the long sought after Goldilocks room: a room with the perfect temperature. I recommend a comfortable, 72 degree temperature for all classes. Let’s go Conrad! It’s time to regulate the building temperature before I need to crawl into a Tauntaun to warm up or take an icy shower to cool down.
