Once considered necessary for high school, lockers are slowly losing their allure. According to The Washington Post, the allure of lockers has greatly diminished due to factors such as students carrying their belongings at all times, and the shift of student resources online. The article talks about how for many students, time outweighs convience for many, including here at Conrad.

We polled staff here at The Conrad Howler, and we found that the majority of students have not used a locker, with many not even getting assigned a locker this school year.

For many here and across the country, the locker was once considered an essential part of growing up, but as school curriculum shifts to the internet, the locker seems to be a thing of the past for many students.
