In a small neighborhood in Elkton, a good day quickly turned bad. Last Saturday, around 6:30 p.m. a shooting broke out at Fletchwood Community Park. Some witnesses said that the shooting was over a basketball game. 23-year-old Perry Lotts Jr. was fatally shot, and 3 others were injured. Investigators are still looking for a suspect.

Lotts was said to be a funny, lively guy, who stayed out of trouble. They also say he was a father, and that he will be missed. Out of respect for the Lotts family, witnesses didn’t give much detail on the shooting itself. They only said it quickly turned violent, the shooting sent everyone running. As of Monday afternoon, there are no updates on the crime.
