 Conrad Schools of Science hosted their annual Chinese New Year Celebration in the Cafeteria. The events scheduled included a cultural program, various hands-on activities, and an incredible spread of authentic Chinese food. 

All throughout Asia, millions of people are currently celebrating the Lunar New Year 4717, known as the Year of the Pig. In Chinese symbolism, the pig is known for optimism, enthusiasm and hard work. This is reportedly the largest annual human migration, according to the BBC. Some of the many traditions include massive fireworks displays, towns festooned in red to scare off purported monsters, ornamental lanterns, sumptuous and plentiful food, among other traditions.
