“Who is the contestant that has the second longest winning streak on Jeopardy?”
Who is, James Holzhauer?
Yes indeed, James Holzhauer has nearly won 25 games on the iconic game show, giving current record holder Ken Jennings a run for his money. Speaking of money, Holzhauer has really raked it in, with an accumulation of nearly $2,000,000 dollars as of this writing.

You may be asking, how is this possible? According to a interview with Sports Illustrated, Holzhauer claims that he learned nearly all his facts from children books, because “the books are tailored to make things interesting for uninterested readers.” He also is a professional gambler, and according to a video from Cheddar, he has completely flipped how Jeopardy is played. Typically, Jeopardy is played from top to bottom, with the easier questions on the top of the board. Typically, the more harder and valuable questions are closer to the bottom of the board, with the “Double Jeopardy” squares appearing in this area as well. Holzhauer however, has flipped this methodology completely, by getting the harder questions and the “Double Jeopardy” squares at the beginning of the game. This typically gives Holzhauer a substantial lead, a lead that is typically never beaten by the other contestants in the game.

It is yet to be seen how much Holzhauer will ultimately win, or when he will end his streak on the show. But if one thing is certain, it is that Jeopardy will forever be changed by Holzhauer, with some saying that other contestants may employ the same techniques Holzhauer used to amass such a fortune.
