On August 27th, Brazil rejected millions of dollars donated to help fight the Amazon fire.  Shortly after Brazil accepted British aid, many world leaders pledged to give 22 million dollars to assist with the fire, but Brazil’s leader rejected the offer and told them to ‘mind their own business’. The president of France and the president of Brazil had a large feud over twitter due to the harsh statement made by Brazil’s president. The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsanaro, has continued to undermine himself and his popularity within the country through decisions like this.
