This past Saturday, Dec 7th, the Conrad girls varsity basketball team took on Thomas Edison High at the 76ers Fieldhouse. This was the girl’s first-ever game at the 76er Fieldhouse, with a win for their first game of the season as well. Conrad defeated Thomas Edison, with Conrad scoring a total of sixty-two points, and Thomas Edison scoring a total of forty-four. Throughout the game, Stefanie Kulesza had the most points with an overall of twenty-two points up on the scoreboard, and behind her was Ja’Nylah Whittlesey with a total of sixteen points. As a reward for her good performance and effort, Stefanie Kulesza received the MVP (most valuable player) award of the game Saturday night.
