On Monday night, Jan. 6, the Sixers team took on the Oklahoma Thunder. Joel Embiid injured his left ring finger within the first quarter of the game and was taken back into the locker room for a small break. The player made an appearance back on the court only minutes later with his fingers being taped together. Recent reports say Embiid tore his radial collateral ligament in the fourth metacarpals. Although Embiid was hurt, he still helped lead the Sixers to their 120-113 win, with Embiid having: eight-teen points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. This upcoming Friday (Jan. 10), Embiid will be having surgery and will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.
