    Mexico’s 3rd Earthquake

    Mexico’s 3rd Earthquake

On September 19, 2022, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 struck Mexico at the Colima/Michoacán border. The people in several surrounding states were able to feel this powerful quake. It just happened to have occurred on the anniversary of not one, but two past devastating earthquakes, also with magnitudes over 7.0, that happened back in 2017 and 1985. After the quake, there was a bit of flooding started to appear and there is now a tsunami warning for Mexico’s Pacific coast.

Hello, my name is Lizzette Tovar-Garcia. I am 17 years old and a junior here at Conrad Schools of Science. I have chosen to take the Animal Science pathway because I love animals.
