Haunted Attractions to Visit Before Halloween

Haunted Attractions to Visit Before Halloween

With the spooky season emerging, you might feel the need to celebrate it. Although Delaware doesn’t have a lot of events there are several nearby attractions to try out with friends and family. The closest haunted attraction nearby Conrad is probably the most well-known here in Wilmington and that’s Frightland. Frightland is an annual activity with primarily scary-themed carnival-based rides. It accompanies a haunted barn that drives out a scary hay ride. If this sounds interesting, Frightland is in Middletown, Delaware, and prices range from $20-$25. If this isn’t scary enough for you, you can make a trip to Eastern State Penitentiary. This haunted attraction has a more historical approach due to reports of hauntings in the building you’ll be walking through, including famous mafia leader Al Capone’s cell. There are five haunted houses to choose from with scares and entertainment for horror lovers to enjoy in Philadelphia, PA. These ticket prices will range from $34-$64 depending on the experience you would prefer (VIP or general admission.) A similar experience is the Pennhurst Asylum haunted attractions in Spring City, PA. Pennhurst includes only three haunted attractions, but it’s filled with scary experiences. You can visit the asylum itself, the morgue, and the tunnels. This location is scarier than the others because it has the most reports of paranormal activity. If you’re feeling bold enough to visit any of these places, there’s more information can be found on their websites.
