Ron DeSantis, the current governor of Florida, announces his candidacy for the Presidential Election 2024. DeSantis is expected to rival Donald Trump for the republican ticket and favorite. His announcement was made on Twitter Space with Elon Musk, but the start was left glitchy and therefore left many people disinterested. In addition, Tim Scott, the South Carolina Senator, also publicly announced his campaign after being highly speculated to do so. The pair are joined by the former governors Nikki Haley and Asa Hutchinson, as well as Vivek Ramaswamy, Larry Elder,and Donald Trump for those on the republican ballot. Running again for the Democratic party is current President Joe Biden, alongside author Marianna Williamson, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
