The Eagles stayed home this past week to take on the Buffalo Bills at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. The game was a Sunday night game on 11/26/23. The Eagles were 9-1 taking on the 6-5 Buffalo Bills. Both teams were playing sloppy football, which has been the biggest concern with both football teams this far into the season. Despite that the Bills jumped to a 17-7 lead at halftime. After the half, the Eagles looked significantly better on the offensive side of the ball. They scored 24 points in the 3rd and 4th quarters to force the game into overtime. Perhaps the only reason they made it to overtime was a 59-yard Field Goal by Jake Elliot, one of the league’s best kickers. After that, the Bills won the coin toss and received the ball. They were driving when the receiver Gabe Davis ran an incorrect route that resulted in the Bills settling for an FG. Afterward, the Eagles took full advantage of this and won the game off a QB Draw play call that got Jalen Hurts his 2nd rushing touchdown on the day.
