The Conrad T&F team had a busy week with a dual meet at St Marks HS on Tuesday and an invitational at Caravel on Saturday.
52 athletes competed on Tuesday in both individual events and relays on a beautiful sunny afternoon at a dual meet hosted by St. Marks HS. Several athletes tried out events for the first time, including Weston Banks-Congo who set the school record and hit the minimum state qualifying mark in the high jump in his first-ever effort in the event!
On Saturday, 37 RedWolves had the opportunity to compete against over 1100 athletes from 45 teams from across the Mid-Atlantic area. With field events kicking off at 10 am and the 3200m run wrapping up around 7 pm, we had a long but successful day at Caravel Academy in the Art Madric Invitational. The girls finished in 9th place (out of 26 scoring teams) with 28 points and the boys finished in 20th place (out of 32 scoring teams) with 8 points.
