On April 29th, 2024, “Moggie,” who went missing earlier this month, was found over a thousand miles away from home after being accidentally shipped in an Amazon returns box to California. Moggie’s owners say she loves to sleep in boxes, but this time they hadn’t noticed her inside one when they taped it off and sent it out to Amazon. The cat miraculously survived without any food or water for about six days until she was finally found by an amazon worker. Luckily for Moggie, one of the seams hadn’t been sealed on the box so she didn’t suffocate. When she was taken to the vet her microchip was scanned and her owners quickly flew to California to pick her up.
