The NFL season has come to a start with an AFC Championship rematch, with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off at home against the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs are looking to win their third Super Bowl in a row, and they started off hot by beating the AFC Favorites. A final score of 27-20 in ruling towards the chiefs, however, there is more of a story to tell than that. Rookie first round pick Xavier Worthy scored 2 out of the three touchdowns for the chiefs having 2 catches for 47 yards and a touchdown, as well as having 1 rush for 21 yards and a touchdown. 3rd year running back Isiah Pacheco also had 47 yards with a rushing touchdown. For the Ravens, new signing and former OPOY Derrick Henry had his first touchdown as a Raven. Tight end Isaiah Likely also had 111 yards and a touchdown. The Ravens found themselves down by 7 with 4 seconds left deep in Chiefs territory. They throw it to tight end Isaiah Likely who catches it in the end zone, however, they review the call after it was very close to the sidelines. The replay shows that Likely was out of bounds by a few blades of grass. Could we see another rematch in the playoffs? I know I sure hope so.
