Friday 9/6, Conrad field hockey won 4-3 against Brandywine at our home field. During the first quarter of the game, Ava Munden had 1 goal and Maddison Strattman had one assist, however after the second quarter Munden had 1 assist, Strattman had 2 goals, and Ayla Lenoir had one goal! Goalie Hailey Hughes had 6 saves overall against Brandywine. Brandywine got two goals playing this game but also had a stroke, a type of penalty shot, against our goalie.
On Tuesday 9/10, Conrad played Archmere Academy. They played a great game, however they lost 8-0. Conrad’s efforts were shown with 5 shots on goal and 2 corners. Archmere worked for those goals with 3 in the first quarter, 2 in the second quarter, and 3 in the fourth quarter. Goalie Hailey Hughes had 12 saves this game.
