On September 4th, 2024 at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia a 14-year-old male named Colt Gray entered Apalachee High School forcefully with a weapon and took the life of 4 people. Amongst the dead were two teachers Richard Aspinwall, 39 and Christina Irimie, 53 as well as two students Mason Schermerhorn, 14 and Christian Angulo, 14. 9 victims were injured and are expected to fully recover.
When Colt Gray entered, a teacher had a device called CENTEGIX, which teachers carry that has a lanyard connected to it. But it’s not just a device, it’s a device that saves lives. This device has a panic button and other buttons as well. When you press one of these buttons it will notify the nearest emergency services to the location where it was pressed and emergency services will immediately get there. This device has saved over 10 million people’s lives.
