Sunday September 15, Maryland beaches along with Ocean City were closed to the public. The reason being medical waste was being found washed ashore, including; needles, syringes and feminine hygiene producers. Officials have banned swimming, paddling, and surfing, the medical waste is currently being investigated and thankfully there have been no reports of injuries caused by the waste.
