Conrad football makes history by going to the playoffs for the first time in school history. They locked down their spot after a comeback win against Seaford on Conrad’s senior night. The Red Wolves were down 20-0 at one point, but that didn’t put them down. The proceeded to put on 34 unanswered points to win the game 34-20. The team was lead by senior captain Nyaire Coleman, who rushed for 97 yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as having 9 tackles. Junior Charles Shute had a career game too. He had a career high 21 tackles, 5 tfl’s, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble, he also caught 3 passes for 88 yards. The Red Wolves move on to the playoffs for the first time with a 5-5 record (5-3 in the conference). The play Indian River in the first round, let hope they can use some more of that Red Wolves spirit and take this game.
