This weekend kicks off the start of the Conrad wrestling season with a tournament down at Polytech. The team finished last season with a 9-4 record but narrowly missed the playoffs. The team is led by Captains Gerald Mubaira (Sr), Raul Dario (Sr), Juan Carlos (JC) Santos (Sr), and Tommy Arms (So). The team had 2 state qualifiers last season with Tommy placing 5th at 113 and JC finishing 6th at 144. The team also had 2 girls place at the women states last season with Vanessa Rodriguez finishing second and Anggiel Gonzalez finishing 1st is their respective weight classes. The team looks to make the playoffs for the first time in team history.
