In terms of food service, Conrad Schools of Science’s cafeteria staff matches no other. With over 800 children to feed, five days a week, our lunch ladies and men are comparable to no others. From salads and parfaits and pizza to magnificent holiday lunches, our lunch ladies are food preparation queens! Every time I buy lunch, I am greeted with a smile and asked how I’m doing and if I’d like to try the bean salad. Usually I dislike waiting in lines, but I would gladly wait an extra ten seconds to witness the secret handshake between a lunch lady and a student. A good morning and a smile from the ladies at the register can make my morning breakfast ten times better. The sugar cookies made during holidays are some of the best cookies I have ever tasted. Our cafeteria staff works hard every day, and I just wanted to say that Conrad students recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication for a healthy and well-fed student body.
