Congrats to the boys’ and girls’ XC teams on their strongest showing yet this season at the New Castle County Championship meet at Winterthur.
The boys finished the day in 4th place (improving on their 10th place finish in 2019) led by Ben Williamson (21st) and Braeden Peterson (22nd) who both earned All County honors. 8 of our 9 boys ran season PRs yesterday in perfect conditions on a tough course.
The girls also finished in 4th (improving on their 6th place finish in 2019) led by Mallory Holloway (5th), Alyssa Napier (11th), and Jordan Blanck (20th) who each earned All County honors. 7 girls ran season PRs.
Best of luck to Ben W, Braeden, Ben H, Andrew, Ryan, Nick, Jason, Mallory, Alyssa, Jordan, Penny, Izzy, Rhiannon, Addison, Rana, and Keely as they work on final preparations for the State Championship meet next Saturday at Brandywine Creek State Park.
