The Biden Administration announced its plan to deliver free covid testing kits through a government website. Every home in the United States is eligible to receive four of these testing kits. Problems with the free testing programs have already started. For example, people living in apartments are coming to find out that their complex is listed as a business address, so therefore the covid tests are not eligible for delivery to the people living in them. Another issue for people living in apartments is that someone else in the same complex had already ordered them, so the website says testing kits have already been ordered for that address. Along with this, many stores are on backorder for covid tests and are unable to receive and then distribute the test kits, because they are being bought up by the federal government.
