Police have arrested a woman for two carjackings, a deadly crash, and the chaos she left behind. The suspect faces a number of charges. On Sunday, March 13th, 2022, just after 9:30 a.m on the 4000 block of New Castle Avenue, 30-year-old Brittallia Semaan carjacked a Chevy Trax with four people inside, injuring a 66-year-old woman sitting in the passenger seat. After getting away, the suspect struck and killed a man in the area of Route 9 and Boothhurst Boulevard before driving to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, where she struck a 19-year-old woman in the parking lot. She then went down Route 141 until she collided head-on with a white Maserati with a man and woman inside. There weren’t any serious injuries in this crash. Moments after the crash, a 62-year-old man who stopped to help was also carjacked by Semaan.
