Did you know that more than one in three high school students had experienced persistent sadness or hopelessness in 2019? That statistic has shown a 40% increase from 2009. May 16th-May 20th, Conrad will be having their Mental Health Awareness Week from May 16th-20th to bring attention to this growing issue. There will be What Makes You Happy Monday, which will be a dress down day costing two dollars, and a wear Green to be Seen free dress down day. There will also be small activities each day of the week, with the other days being titled Talk About it Tuesday, Well Wednesday, and Thoughtful Thursday. We encourage all students to participate this week to reflect on their own mental health and to help end the stigma around mental health.
