    Monkey Pox Outbreak

Monkey pox is a very serious issue as of now. The first serious spread was recorded in May of 2022 and is still continuing today. The spread isn’t as bad as Covid, but it still has some people on the edge because it is still contractable from other people. It’s not as close contact as Covid is, but it’s still something to be cautious of. Symptoms of monkey pox include rashes, swollen lymph nodes, and fever. The monkey pox outbreak has surprised everyone around the world and should be monitored closely so more people don’t get infected.

    Roslyn Barber, HS Reporter
Hi, my name is Roslyn Barber and I am in the 12th grade at Conrad. My pathway is Biomed. I have decided to join journalism because I enjoy writing about what’s happening now in the world and giving people the information they need. I think it is crucial that the students at Conrad are well informed about school-related activities and events occurring worldwide. I am very excited to be coming back to journalism this year.
