It’s finally that month! Hispanic Heritage Month is here! For those that do not know, Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 – October 15. It first started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, and in 1988, President Ronald Reagan expanded it to a full month. It is celebrated to recognize the influence Hispanic Americans had on American history. It also celebrates the Independence Days of multiple Latin countries that occur during this month. It’s commonly celebrated with festivals and other get-together activities so be sure to check them out. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Conrad is doing a scavenger hunt from September 15-October 15 2022! This is an important month in our community because it celebrates the histories, cultures, and ancestors of Hispanic groups. Our school wants to celebrate this with everyone and is offering a scavenger hunt to students. The rewards given to the people with the most things found are a pinata filled with candy and/or a dress-down pass. To mark off the boxes of the scavenger hunt you must take a picture of yourself in the location. For further information on these locations to visit and where the scavenger hunt template is, speak to our Spanish teachers for more.
