    A New Lead in a Cold Case

    The Boulder Police Department had just announced the discovery of new DNA found on JonBenet Ramsay’s clothing.  With this new lead, in a case that had been dormant for almost 25 years, John Andrew Ramsay (the half brother of JonBenet Ramsay) pleads for the lead to be tested.  On the contrary, The Boulder PD wants to wait as DNA found is in a small amount, and with John Ramsay (the father of JonBenet) wanting the tests to be private, any results will take time to be announced.  Until then, the investigation is still ongoing despite leads being slow.

    Hello, my name is Robyn Bolen and I am a senior here at Conrad.  I’ve been here since the sixth grade, and a very active member of my class.  I’m involved in cross country and both seasons of track.  As well as other curricular activities such as Green Club, Speech and Debate, National Honor Society, Journalism and the Class of ‘24 Vice President.  And I am excitingly entering my last year at Conrad as an editor.

      The Boulder police department has had decades to solve this heartbreaking case. I agree with Mr. Ramsey. Give the articles for DNA testing to an outside lab. Genetic testing will solve this case ( Ex: Ged match). We owe this to the Ramsey family after the horrible way people were accusing them of harming their beloved daughter. The witch hunt and vitriol towards Patsy was unconscionable. It is time to right this terrible wrong.
