For many years people have been expressing themselves through their lipstick and as a school with a dress code, expressing your individual style can be complicated.  One predominant way many students express themselves is through their lip color. There have been studies that hypothesized that your lipstick color has a correlation with one’s personality and emotions.  For instance, someone with plum lips is considered unique.  Even those who don’t wear lipstick can still convey themselves, natural lipped individuals are said to be no-nonsense and lip glossed individuals are considered friendly and welcoming.  Overall, there are many ways of self expression but lips are so simple and common that many people do it without realizing.  So next time you put on your lipstick or see someone walking down the hallway with vibrant lips, maybe there’s something more to it rather than just liking the color.
