In biotech 4, students held an experiment where they raced seven crickets. The goal was to find which would be the fastest and what factors affected their speed. We measured femur length, their overall sizes, and weight. Jam won the race with a time of 9.95 seconds; he had the smallest femur length of 0.5cm and weighed 0.4g. Most of the crickets got similar results, but there were outliers that had dramatically different results. For example, Jimothy had a femur length of 1cm, and Adam took the longest with a time of 17.93 seconds. Adam, being the sore loser he is, also weighed 0.2g and had a 0.6cm long femur.
