The Conrad Logo changed in 2016 due to political correctness. From the schools inception in the 1930’s the logo was “The Redskins” which many later opposed due to its potential offensiveness to Native Americans. As this debate went on in this country for a years, it was finally decided that no sports team could have the name Redskins, including the NFL team. Conrad put their think tank in gear and came up with a clever way to honor the Native Americans by using a symbol that they revered- The American Red Wolf. In Early 2017, Red Clay School District decided that Conrad student body would be called the REDWOLVES.
