At the beginning of this year, school lunches went from free to $2.50. This may seem small, but it is not worth the money. Most say the school lunch is below average. 29.6 million students are served school lunch every day in America, that’s about 60% of students! Why not adjust the palate to what the students may want? Even though some schools still have free lunches, the quality is not nearly up to standards. I believe that giving students a nutritional, yet tasteful lunch is the best way to solve this problem
