Several of our RedWolves traveled to Staten Island, NY during their winter break on Dec 27 to compete in the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival.

Kicking off the day, Conrad had 3 girls compete in the 400m Invitational races – Alyssa Medaled finishing in 5th overall, running a school record and DE #1 time, followed by Karen in 9th and Jordan in 13th.  Soon after, Mallory competed in the Invitational 2 mile, finishing in 9th place and running a school record and DE #1 time.

The RedWolves runners worked together the rest of the meet on relay teams with the boys 4X8 (Sebastian, Joey, Ryan, and Braeden) finishing in 26th; the girls Sprint Medley Relay (Keely, Ava, Safiya, and Penny) finishing in 16th;and the boys Sprint Medley Relay (Tyler, Gabe, Mykola, and Sebastian) finishing in 21st.

Wrapping up the day, the girls Distance Medley Relay (Jordan, Karen, Alyssa, and Mallory) medaled in 3rd place, breaking the school record and running a DE #1 time, and a US #11! The boys Distance Medley Relay (Joey, Jason, Ulises, and Braeden) broke the school record and ran a DE #3 time.

The team looks ahead to Golden Wolves Challenge at Alvernia on 1/7.
