On November 2nd, 2022, classified files were found in Biden’s former private office. They were discovered at the Penn Biden Center in Washington and contain briefings on foreign countries. The ten files contain US intelligence memos and briefing materials on Ukraine, Iran, and the UK. The documents are related to Biden’s position as vice president, but the level of classification of each of them is unknown. A Republican congressional committee will investigate the matter while the US justice department currently reviews it.
