This year, Conrad has implemented an “Electronic Hall Pass”, called eHallpass. This was in an effort to reduce class cutting and students being late to class. The system only allows one person out each time and a maximum of 3 people at any given location. However, with 1200 students in the building, this doesn’t seem to be enough. The bathrooms are almost always full, and making a pass has become extremely difficult because there always seem to be 3 people out. The process of making a pass is time-consuming and takes away unnecessary learning time, which is why we should scrap eHallpass and go back to the way it was.
