Friday, May 19, marked the 8th Grade Formal!  Students were dressed up formally to enjoy a night of dancing, games, snacks, amongst other activities.  The theme of the night was beach and carnival games, with students walking a “boardwalk” to enter the gymnasium.  They were then greeted with games such as ping pong and volleyball as well as a section for taking photos.  The other half of the gym was reserved for dancing, and the DJ did not disappoint.  In the back gym, students were able to get refreshments and snacks while also participating in carnival activities to win prizes!  As the night continued, raffle prizes were called and so did musical chairs.  In the end, 8th grader, Ryder, won the first round and winners round, getting both a Chick-Fil-A gift card and fandango.  Once the night was over, the students could take home a complementary fish!  Special thanks to the Conrad PTO, Ms. Gilley, and our volunteers for making the night as fun as possible!
