The tropical storm known as Hurricane Idalia has recently hit Florida. This has mostly affected the northern and central parts of the state, causing millions of dollars worth of damage, and some people lost their lives as a result. Though the severe amount of damage is more than enough to worry about, there are even more problems that Hurricane Idalia has caused. Flamingos–the tropical birds local to Florida, African water holes, and the Caribbean have been thrown off their migration routes. Recently these flamingos have been sighted in further northern and midwest states. Experts say that the birds have become stressed due to the unnatural habitat.
