The US Federal Bureau of Investigation stated on September 6th that North Korean hackers had stolen $41M in cryptocurrencies from the online gambling platform Stake two days prior. The North Korean hacker group known as Lazarus has committed several high-profile heists of virtual currency around the world as stated by the FBI. A prime example of this is the Ronin heist they committed last April, of which they used an exploit to steal over $600 million. They are estimated to have stolen over $1 billion from various companies around the globe.
