    Affirmative Action Gone

    Affirmative+Action+Gone

Affirmative action was that of a lens for many high school students of minority descent to get recognized by their desired college as it further boosted a universities demographic and diversity. Although seeming as a great opportunity, as of June 29 2023 The Supreme Court has decided to end this race related acceptance as many students of white and Asian descent found it unfair to be rejected into a school due to race alone. The Supreme Court decision ended in a 6-3 ruling, with a clear division among the republican and democratic judges. Many protests have occurred over the controversial decision as many African and Hispanic students feel as the decision would mean for less minority graduates.
