This past month or two, multiple wildfires have appeared in mainly Quebec, Canada. Experts say that the intensity and likelihood of these wildfires have increased by 50% due to climate change. These new wildfires have already burned over 15 million hectares of land, which is roughly the size of Illinois. Other reports say that the fires still burn in the country, and the smoke is affecting both the United States and Western Europe. They have had to evacuate more than 150,000 people, and at least 17 have died.
