In the fourth week of the NFL season, we saw our Philadelphia Eagles take on division rival Washington Commanders. The game started at 1:00 p.m. in Lincoln Financial Field. The game was close with the Eagles taking a 31-24 lead late in the 4th quarter, leaving the door wide open for the Commanders to tie the game and send it to overtime! It was the first game of overtime football for the birds and they did not disappoint. The defense promptly forced a 3 and out for Washington’s offense and now it was the Bird’s chance to take advantage. They drove down the field and went to Mr. Reliable kicker Jake Elliot and he won them the game on a 54-yard field goal to help improve the Eagles to a clean 4-0, they traveled to So-FI Stadium in Los Angeles, CA to face the LA Rams.

What’s up, My name is Chase and I’m a senior at Conrad. I have been here since 6th grade so going on 7 years here now. I try to work a decent amount and I also try to go to after school events or games going on. My pathway is Biotech and I’m currently in my 4th year of that. My favorite school subject is history, especially APUSH. The reason I chose journalism is because I wanted to improve upon my writing skills and becoming more comfortable with people reading my work and what I write. I love reading and talking about sports, so I’d assume that would be my favorite but I’d love to branch out.
