On October 7, 2023, Manchester United took on Brentford on Matchday 8 of the Premier League at Old Trafford stadium in Manchester. After two losses in a row for United, they were determined to try and win the game against Brentford. Unfortunately in the 26th minute United were down 0-1 at home with Brentford opening the score. The match stayed that way for the majority of the game with United not being able to get any chances and Brentford playing very well defensively. With three minutes left, all hope was lost for United as it seemed they were going to lose for the third time in a row. Until Manchester United veteran Scott McTominay scored a rebound to tie the game up with 2 minutes left! Then as everyone assumed the game would end in a draw, McTominay scored a header to win the game at the very last second of the game. United’s next test is against newly promoted Sheffield United on October 21st.
McTominay Saves Manchester United!
