As of Wednesday, October 11, 2023, over 7 million people have gotten the new/updated COVID-19 vaccinations. It has been recommended that everyone above the age of 6 months should be getting the updated vaccine. The reason why no baby under 6 months is allowed to take the vaccine is because of hospitalization rates. The rates among infants that are below the age of 6 months are similar to those who are the ages between 65-74.
