The Vinsons, who resided in Kent County, have pleaded guilty to abusing their 2 children on October 18th, 2023. They were charged because their kids have been facing acts of abuse such as standing for extended periods of time, withholding food, force-feeding, etc. This abuse resulted in multiple hospitalizations for both victims. Their children have been placed in the care of the Division of Family Services. Even before this, on September 26th, both parents pleaded guilty to more charges involving the child abuse. Mary Vinson has a sentence of a minimum of 30 years and up to 444 while Charles Vinson has a sentence of a minimum of 10 years and up to 158 years in prison.
