The new pepper called “Pepper X” was officially named the world’s hottest pepper by the Guinness World Records. This pepper is about 3 times spicier than the previous one that held this title. To determine the level of spice they use a Heat-wielding chemical compound called capsaicinoids. This technique was founded in 1912. The heat of the pepper isn’t held in the seeds but instead the white placenta that the seeds are in.
