Elsmere police are asking the public to identify a woman who was forced into a car on Wednesday.

The possible kidnapping happened around 1. P.M. at New Road and Leech Avenue, with a dark SUV with a trash bag over its back passenger side. Police have also described the suspect as a light-skinned black male with curls, but do not know who the woman who was forced into the car.

Police also do not have an approximate age, but they believe she was an adult. Police are also asking that if anyone comes forth, do so immediately by calling 911 or by contacting Elsmere police.

Remember, if someone you know is believed to be missing, do not give up. Do. Not. Panic.  Contact local law enforcement, and file a police report of the missing person. Contact family and friends about said person, and also take to social media if possible for a better public outreach. Provide physical details and potential evidence for disappearance and also keep in touch with local police. Remember that people are also trying to help, so have hope and optimism. It is important to stay as open and promising as possible that the missing person will come back.
