Diamondbacks Force Game 7 At Citizens Bank Park

The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 5-1 at Citizens Bank Park yesterday.

The Backs forced an anxiety-inducing but inevitable Game 7 in the NLCS, with the World Series on the line. The series is tied 3-3, with the Phils having a chance to return after a soul-crushing loss last night in Game 6. The Backs also ended the Phillies undefeated streak at home with being 6-0, now 6-1.

Game 7 will test the waters for both Arizona and Philadelphia, with Philadelphia looking to get its second National League pennant but with Arizona looking to go back to the World Series since 2001. Ranger Suarez will pitch for the Phils and Brandon Pfaadt for Arizona. Both pitchers have contention for their respective teams, with both delivering what needs to be done despite not staying in for long.

Both teams also have contenders when it comes to scoring runs. The Phils, with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and Nick Castellanos, who have all hit home runs in the series look to get the crowd going and get the W. On the contrary, the Dbacks with Corbin Carroll, Ketel Marte, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr look to stun the Phils at home and go to the World Series for the first time in 22 years.

Will the Phils win back-to-back and look to cause chaos in Philly? Will the Dbacks survive and let their dreams come true? It’s a battle for the NLCS, and only time will tell at 8:07 P.M in South Philadelphia. But with that being said, GO PHILS!!!!!!!!!!!
